Knead A Friend – An Introduction to Massage Therapy

Are you considering a career in massage, or would you like to learn basics of Swedish Massage? This class is an introduction to the field of massage therapy. The cost of this class will be credited to your tuition when you enroll in our Professional Massage Training Program. Come alone or bring a friend and learn simple massage techniques to share every day! $100 per person.

• The history of massage
• Using oils and lotions
• Basic draping skills and body mechanics
• Basic massage techniques

You will need to bring one full set of twin size sheets, one hand towel , a twin-size blanket or XL bath towel, notebook and pen. Tables and lotions are provided for this workshop.

Note: If you are under the age of 18, you will need to be accompanied by a legal guardian.
